We would love to tell you more about our club. If interested, send a message to cypresskiwanis@gmail.com and we can walk you through the process. We look forward to hearing from you!

The Opportunity to Help

We believe that those who give to others are the happiest. There is nothing more beautiful than reaching out to help make someone’s day a little bit better. It teaches us the value of service and shows us how important our contributions are in making our world a better place, especially for children.

Membership provides education in human relations and personal development. Being in service to others develops good character and gives us experiences that teach us to become better individuals.

Being a member allows one to take part in the many activities and projects within our community. We have a great group of members who enjoy spending time with each other. We would love for you to join us!

The Application Process

In order to make the application process easy to understand and fair to all potential members, the entire process and associated costs are below.

1. We like to get to know prospective members before we invite them to join, so we ask them to attend at least two or more meetings/socials/volunteer events before submitting their application. There is no cost to you to attend these initial meetings as the cost will be borne by your sponsor or by the club. Arrangements to attend must be made with your sponsor or the club in advance of attending.

2. Membership is by invitation only and a prospective new member must have the sponsorship of at least one existing member of our club. In the event that one does not know one of our members, the club will help introduce you to the membership so that a sponsor may be obtained. Candidates must be at least 21 years old. Our club welcomes new member candidates without regards to sex, race, creed, or national origin.

3. Your sponsor will present your completed application to the membership committee to be voted upon. Once your application is approved by the membership committee, it is then submitted to the Club Board for a formal vote of approval. The Board meets once per month to discuss such issues.
